AIPS 2011 will present the latest integrated and comprehensive security systems

AIPS 2011 (Almaty International Protection and Security), a three-day security exhibition, will take place in Almaty.

The event will be held in pavilion № 9 at Atakent Exhibition Centre and will begin on 2 March. A separate sector of the exhibition will present modular fire safety systems and solutions for residential and commercial premises. The exhibition will also include physical protection and security equipment.

The exhibitors include the following companies: Asia Techno Complect, Pirant, Varius Technologies, Acumen, Association of the Security Organisations, Astana-Polus, Group 4 Securicor Kazakhstan, Three A Group, Varius Technologies, MGP Spetsavtomatika, Grodno Khimvolokno, Safety Technologies, Acumen, Group of Companies Egida, AxxonSoft Kazakhstan, Pozhtechnika, Micro Digital and others.

AIPS 2011is organised by Iteca and Atakent Expo, the two largest Kazakhstani exhibition companies, and their international partner ITE Group plc. ITE Group plc organises the largest exhibitions in the CIS in the security and protection sector: MIPS (Moscow), Sfitex (St. Petersburg), KIPS (Kiev) and others.

AIPS 2011 will combine an exhibition with an extensive business programme. The event is due to feature a conference – “Integrated Security 2011” - as well as seminars and presentations by exhibiting companies, which will be held in a special conference room in pavilion № 9.

Thematically, the conference is divided into three sessions, scheduled on different days of the exhibition. The first day, 2 March, will open with a session entitled “Current problems in the scientific support of fire safety in Kazakhstan” chaired by Mr R. Dzhumagaliev, head of RSE SNITs PB and the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and include a session on “Secure data storage and transfer”. On the second day of the exhibition, the conference room will host a session on “The activities of security organisations”, chaired by Mr B Baekenov, President of the Association of Security Organisations of Kazakhstan. The topic on the final day of the exhibition will be “Technical security equipment: CCTV and video surveillance”.

Another feature of AIPS 2011 is its co-location with the construction and interiors exhibition KazBuild Spring 2011, which is one of the most well-attended events in Almaty This will, undoubtedly, help to attract the maximum number of professionals to the event.

Ensuring security requires the effective coordination of the efforts of executive authorities, businesses, services and organisations, as well as the introduction of innovative security and firefighting equipment. In relation to this, the importance of such events is increasing. The exhibition provides all the necessary conditions for establishing business relations, and the new products presented at the show will help promote innovative security products and technologies in the national market. The event will bring together manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, technologies and services for protection, security, rescue, fire protection and more.
