Dahua HD solutions win two Excellence Awards (2)

After competing with some of the world's best manufacturers at Secutech 2012 in April, two of the latest developments from Dahua were crowned with Excellence Awards - namely the Camera Excellence Award won by the DH-CA-F581E and the DVR/NVR Excellence Award won by the DH-DVR0404HD-S.

The Dahua 700TVL day/night WDR camera, DH-CA-F581E, won the honour of Camera Excellence Award for its good performance and crystal clear video reproduction. The combination of high-performance optical system, solid hardware techniques and outstanding image processing capability ensures its excellent 700TVL high-resolution image quality. The 960H CCD super HADII and advanced Effio-P solution enables the camera to offer super wide dynamic range (WDR) . The adopted 3D wave filtering technology to detect and analyse image data to effectively filter the noises in low-light and motion environment, thus further enhancing the image quality of the camera. The day/night WDR camera has built in digital image stabilisation to help minimize the vibration on the video, at times when for example, vehicles pass by frequently. The award winning DH-CA-F581E has a dual power supply and has additional functions including--motion detection and privacy masking and caters for almost all market requirements today.

The second award winning product is Dahua 4CH HD-SDI 1080p 2U DVR, modele DVR0404HD-S, which received a good deal of positive feedback from the show visitors and experts during the competition, as well as from customer groups. During the product design and development process, the R&D engineers at Dahua took high definition (HD) video and functional intelligence into consideration to create a strong storage device that forms digital HD alliance with HD-SDI cameras.

An enhanced version of this DVR is about to be released—the DH-DVR0804HD-S. It is said to be the world’s first 8-channel 1080p HD-SDI standalone DVR to perform real-time live view and recording at 1080p HD quality concurrently. The device also supports 4 channel simultaneous playback. To acquire this high performance and easily cope with the increase in HD application demands, a high-end chipset that integrates the advanced processor and a powerful encoding engine is included.

The DVR0404HD-S is designed to be used ideally in professional applications, such as finance, public security, electricity and where long term monitoring is required together with a high image quality.
