Kazakhstan should be proud of its new industrial economy, Tengrinews reports citing Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Serik Akhmetov as saying in a show on KTK TV channel.

The politician told about the preliminary results of the state-run program of Accelerated Industrial-Innovative Development. "Around 600 new projects totally worth over 3 trillion tenge ($20 billion) have launched over the three years of implementation of the program. We have created companies that produce 150 types of goods that have never been produced in Kazakhstan before," Akhmetov said.

The Prime-Minister believes that the program will help make the economy more industrialized. "Huge amounts of natural resources are not the only pride of Kazakhstan. The country should be proud of its new industrial economy," Akhmetov said.
